Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that Pakistan is a dignified nation and will undoubtedly secure its rightful place on the global stage.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), participants of the National Security Workshop 27 visited the GHQ in Rawalpindi, where they were given a detailed briefing on internal and external security matters.
During the briefing, participants were informed about nationwide efforts against illegal activities, including actions against drug smuggling, organized criminal networks, and other threats that negatively affect national security. Updates were also shared regarding strengthened border control measures and the repatriation of illegal foreigners, aimed at maintaining internal order and protecting national interests.
The delegation later met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in an interactive session. Speaking on the occasion, the Army Chief said Pakistan is currently facing new fronts such as foreign-sponsored terrorism and information warfare. However, the Pakistan Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, and law-enforcement institutions continue to fulfill their responsibilities with exceptional courage, determination, and professionalism. He added that Pakistan’s global stature has risen due to the professional excellence demonstrated in the battlefield of truth.
Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that national unity is Pakistan’s greatest strength and that cohesion among institutions and across the nation is the real guarantee of progress. He reaffirmed that all hostile designs will be defeated, the safety of every citizen remains the top priority, and no compromise will ever be made on the country’s sovereignty and security. He further stated that full cooperation with federal and provincial governments is essential for achieving lasting peace and stability.
