Imran Khan, the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stated that Bushra Bibi screamed when the glass was shattered. He further said that related videos are also there, the footage of the house is on record.
During a hearing related to requests for providing details of cases against Imran Khan in the Lahore High Court, the former Prime Minister appeared on a rostrum.
Imran Khan said, “My wife was at home when the glass was shattered. The police took action against me in Islamabad, even though there was a court order. They conducted an operation at my home and targeted bathing attendants with violence.”
He further stated, “My wife wears a veil and was behind the glass. The police broke the glass, and Bushra Bibi screamed when it shattered. There is also video footage available on this matter, which has become part of the court record.”
The former Prime Minister also said that he was secretly present in court today and arrived without a convoy. “When I arrived at the Islamabad Toll Plaza, they attacked my house. They placed obstacles everywhere to prevent me from reaching the court, and the government has sent a message to the world that there is no rule of law here,” he added.
