Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the party’s vision in the health sector goes beyond provincial boundaries, stating that their real competition is with global standards rather than with other provinces.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended the convocation ceremony of Benazir Bhutto Medical University in Larkana, where he distributed degrees among graduating students and praised their dedication and hard work.
Addressing the gathering, the PPP chairman said that after the passage of the 18th Constitutional Amendment, the Pakistan Peoples Party placed special focus on improving the healthcare system and ensuring better medical facilities for the public, which is now yielding tangible results.
He said that the healthcare facilities available in Khairpur Gambat are of such a high standard that even major hospitals in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Islamabad cannot compete with them, adding that the party’s benchmark in healthcare is set at the global level.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further advised the graduating students to serve in different areas of their province in the future and to adopt service to humanity without discrimination as their guiding principle, stressing that this is the true spirit of the medical profession.
