President Asif Ali Zardari met with the United Arab Emirates Minister for Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, during which both leaders emphasized the importance of promoting dialogue, inclusion, and peaceful coexistence. The meeting highlighted the need to strengthen mutual understanding as a foundation for global peace and harmony.
During the meeting, President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the principles of tolerance and coexistence, stating that fostering harmony among diverse cultures and communities remains a key priority for sustainable peace.
The president paid tribute to the visionary leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praising his role in promoting tolerance and human fraternity, which has earned the United Arab Emirates international recognition as a model of coexistence.
President Zardari commended Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s national vision centered on tolerance and human brotherhood, noting that it plays a vital role in encouraging peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
He further described the UAE’s success in promoting unity and mutual respect among more than 200 nationalities as an impressive example of social cohesion that could serve as a model for other nations.
The meeting was also attended by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Member of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Federal Interior and Narcotics Control Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
