The first match of the three-match T20 series between Pakistan and Australia will be played tomorrow in Lahore, with both teams having completed their preparations for the opening encounter. Cricket fans are expecting an exciting contest as the series gets underway.
According to Australian media reports, Travis Head is likely to lead the Australian side in the first T20 match, while regular captain Mitchell Marsh may be rested. It has also been reported that Josh Inglis could be given rest for the opening match of the series.
It is worth noting that both Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis played the Big Bash League final on Sunday, prompting the team management to consider resting them in the first match as part of workload management.
Meanwhile, the commentary panel for the series will include former Australian Test cricketer Simon Katich, along with Pakistan’s Aamer Sohail, Ramiz Raja, Bazid Khan, and Arooj Mumtaz. Zainab Abbas will perform duties as the presenter during the series.
The second and third T20 matches between the two teams will be held on January 31 and February 1, respectively, with all matches of the series scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.
