In Karachi, a fire broke out in the Liaquat Generator Market building, resulting in the death of one person and the rescue of 26 individuals who were trapped inside.
Following the blaze, five fire tenders, two bowzers, and a snorkel are engaged in extinguishing the fire.
Authorities have reported that one person was killed and three others were injured in the fire. The deceased individual’s name is Ali, while the 26 rescued individuals have been moved to a hospital.
Fire Brigade officials have stated that people are present on the 10th floor of the R Square building.
Sources have reported that there are shops on the ground floor of the building, while offices and a godown are located on the upper floors.
The Fire Brigade is currently rescuing individuals who are trapped inside the building, while the police rangers and rescue teams are on the scene.
