Sui Southern Gas Company has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply to the industrial sector for 24 hours due to gas shortages, raising concerns about industrial activity.
According to SSGC, gas supply will remain suspended from Sunday morning until 8 AM on Monday, April 13, during which industrial consumers will not receive gas.
The statement said the decision was made to ensure fair distribution among all sectors due to limited gas availability in the system.
Industrial stakeholders have expressed concern over the suspension, stating that continued gas outages could disrupt production processes and negatively impact industrial output and the economy.
