Gold prices in the country have witnessed a decline, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs700 to reach Rs496,962.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also dropped by Rs600, settling at Rs426,064.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a decline, falling by $7 to $4,746 per ounce, reflecting global trends.
