At least 23 people were killed and several others injured in separate traffic accidents, shooting incidents, and other tragic events across various areas of Balochistan.
According to DSP Chagai Abid Sherzai, a horrific collision between a car and a bowser near Dalbandin on the RCD Highway claimed 10 lives and left six people injured.
Police sources stated that the accident occurred after a tire of the car traveling from Dalbandin burst, causing the vehicle to lose control and collide with an oncoming bowser. All passengers in the car were Afghan nationals traveling illegally.
Meanwhile, in the Khanozai area near Tehsil Nana Sahib, a loader rickshaw plunged into a deep ravine at Killi Mian Shakh, killing five residents of Spin Taki Nana Sahib and injuring 11 others.
In another incident, 24-year-old Hammad and 17-year-old Mohsin drowned while bathing in the sea near Gadani. Separately, a man identified as Muhammad Gul was shot dead near Hassan Pir in Hub.
Police also recovered the body of a woman near Gadani Stop and shifted it to a hospital for identification.
In Nushki’s Killi Jamaldini area, unidentified armed men entered the library of a boys’ high school and opened fire, killing Haq Nawaz Jamaldini and Muhammad Akram Jamaldini.
Additionally, in Wadhou Lalu Gujar village of Bhag Tehsil in Kachhi district, a man allegedly shot dead his wife and daughter.
