Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has warned that Israel could face a strong response if it continues military operations in southern Lebanon.
In a statement issued by an Iranian military spokesperson, it was claimed that Israeli forces had violated the ceasefire 84 times over the past two days.
According to the statement, civilians were allegedly killed during these incidents, contributing to rising tensions in the region.
The spokesperson said that despite statements by US President Donald Trump regarding de-escalation and ceasefire efforts, military activities on the ground have continued.
The headquarters stated that if Israeli forces do not halt their operations in southern Lebanon, Iran’s armed forces are capable of delivering an appropriate and strong response.
The statement further emphasized that any aggression in the region would be confronted and that unilateral military actions would not be tolerated.
Iranian military officials also reiterated their commitment to responding to actions that threaten regional peace and stability.
