Lahore: The overnight operation that was ongoing at the residence of former Chief Minister Punjab, Pervez Elahi, has come to an end. Police were unsuccessful in apprehending Pervez Elahi.
The anti-corruption and police operation, which was ongoing overnight to apprehend former Chief Minister Punjab, Pervez Elahi, has come to an end and police were unable to arrest Pervez Elahi. However, some of his employees and women were taken into custody.
The Director General Anti-Corruption Punjab, Sohail Zafer Chatha, left Ali’s residence early in the morning and stated that they are leaving.
During the operation, the camera of a news agency was hit by a stone, causing injury to the cameraman’s head. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he received five stitches on his head.
During the operation, the anti-corruption and police officers mistakenly broke into the house of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain by breaking down the door. During this time, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s nephew, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, was injured due to glass shattering.
Later, Director General Anti-Corruption Sohail Zafer Chatha met with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and said that an operation will not be carried out at his house.
