Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has stated that the job of the Supreme Court is not to delay matters, but rather to deliver decisions in accordance with the constitution and the law.
Speaking after a meeting of coalition parties, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that in the near past, discussions were held in our assemblies regarding the challenges that we faced, and the resulting actions taken, which were referred to the National Assembly and the Joint House, and legal and constitutional measures were taken under the Supreme Court.
He stated that the coalition parties are in agreement that general elections should be held at the appointed time and the federal government is determined to overcome challenges facing the country, and all decisions will be made in the best interest of the country.
Shahbaz Sharif said that it is not the job of the court to delay matters, but rather to deliver decisions in accordance with the constitution and the law.
