LAHORE: Secret operations of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab province are ongoing due to fears of terrorism, during the operations, 4 terrorists of the outlawed TTP were arrested.
According to details, the CTD Punjab conducted operations in Sheikhu Pura, Sargodha, Sahiwal, and Rawalpindi, resulting in the arrest of four terrorists affiliated with the banned TTP.
The spokesperson of the CTD stated that the terrorists are linked to the banned TTP, and their identities have been identified as Zahid, Nemat, Zabir, and Abdul Ghafoor.
The spokesperson revealed that the terrorists were in possession of explosive materials, detonators, fuses, mobile phones, and cash. Further investigations are underway after registering four cases against the terrorists.
The CTD spokesperson mentioned that a total of 166 combined operations were conducted last week, resulting in the arrest of 22 suspected individuals.
