Islamabad’s District and Session Court has acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder chairman Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and other leaders in two cases related to vandalism during the Freedom March.
The hearing of two cases against PTI leadership for vandalism and violation of Section 144 during the Freedom March took place at the District and Session Court Islamabad. Judicial Magistrate Ehtesham Alam announced the decision on the acquittal applications.
Ali Muhammad Khan and Asad Umar appeared in court with their lawyers Naeem Haider Panjotha, Sardar Masroof Advocate, and Amna Ali Advocate. Judicial Magistrate Ehtesham Alam delivered the verdict on the acquittal applications, acquitting Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Ali Muhammad Khan, and Murad Saeed from the cases.
It is noteworthy that two cases were registered against PTI founder Imran Khan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and other leaders at Golra Police Station.
