Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, former President Dr. Arif Alvi, and nearly 65 senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been named in cases related to the violent protests on November 24.

Over 300 local PTI leaders and workers have also been implicated.
Media reports mention that the cases detail alleged damage to government vehicles and motorcycles. One FIR claims that protesters abducted a police driver, subjected him to severe torture, and released him afterward. Police allege that Imran Khan planned the protests from Adiala Jail and instructed party leaders to “march on Islamabad.”
FIR No. 2594 includes charges of obstructing official duties, violating Section 144, damaging private and public property, and road blockades.
Responding to Imran Khan’s call for protests, PTI supporters led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur marched toward Islamabad on November 24. Clashes erupted between police and protesters as the convoys entered Punjab, with protesters pelting stones and police using tear gas.
According to media reports, the FIR also mentions that PTI chose confrontation with the government on Sunday and continued its march toward the federal capital despite the imposition of Section 144.
Roads leading to the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been blocked with containers, and a heavy deployment of law enforcement agencies has been made to address any situation.
PTI rallies, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, continue to advance from various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab toward D-Chowk in Islamabad’s Red Zone, located in front of the Parliament House.
Media reports state that cases have been filed against 25 named individuals and approximately 300 unidentified persons. The charges include terrorism, attempted murder, and other serious offenses.
In Gujranwala’s Tatlay Aali area, a case was registered against PTI leadership and workers on allegations of assaulting police.
