National cricket team fast bowler Haris Rauf has stated that there is no pressure in the match against India and that all the players remain calm.
Speaking to the media in Dubai, he mentioned that it is just an ordinary game and Pakistan will treat the match against India like any other cricket match.
Haris Rauf confirmed that he is completely fit. He further added that he bowled 10 overs in the match against New Zealand, which proved his match fitness.
He noted that Pakistan has previously defeated India twice at the Dubai Cricket Stadium and is determined to secure another victory this time.
Discussing the upcoming match, the fast bowler remarked (in the context of the team’s defeat against New Zealand) that the team has moved on from that game and is now focusing on playing against India while adapting to the conditions in Dubai.
Haris Rauf emphasized the importance of learning from past mistakes to progress in the tournament and qualify for the semifinals. He further stated that all the players are committed to delivering their best performance.
Speaking about injuries, Haris Rauf mentioned that they can occur at any time, even while a player is on the move. He added that there are some things beyond our control, so there is no point in worrying about them.
Commenting on team selection, Haris acknowledged that the absence of Fakhr Zaman and Saeem Ayub has disrupted the team combination. However, he expressed confidence in the available players to perform strongly.
When asked about the growing demand for tickets for the Pakistan-India clash in Dubai, Haris Rauf jokingly replied that he does not know the match tickets or passes.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan and India will face each other on Sunday in Dubai in the ICC Champions Trophy.
