India has closed its airspace to Pakistan. The Indian government has issued a NOTAM regarding the airspace restriction for Pakistan, according to which Indian airspace will remain closed for all Pakistani aircraft from today until May 23.
The national airline had already stopped using Indian airspace as a precaution due to rising tensions between Pakistan and India.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, citing the Pahalgam attack as justification, India announced the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, after which Pakistan closed its airspace for Indian airlines.
