The public, particularly those with lower and middle incomes, are facing serious challenges as a result of the further increase in flour prices throughout Pakistan. The cost of a 20 kg bag of flour increased by up to Rs 300 in the last week alone, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
According to the report, the cost of flour in Karachi is currently the highest in the nation; a 20 kg bag can cost up to Rs 2,100. In the past week, the price of a 20 kg bag has increased by Rs 280 in Hyderabad and Sukkur and Rs 300 in Karachi, Larkana, and Khuzdar.
Within a week, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour increased by Rs 210 in Quetta and by Rs 200 in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Bannu, and Multan.
