Both leaders lauded the bravery and sacrifices of security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and paid tribute to their service in the pursuit of lasting peace. Mohsin Naqvi said the entire nation salutes the officers martyred in the attacks on the police training center and NADRA office in Dera Ismail Khan, and he discussed plans for the reconstruction of the affected buildings.
The Interior Minister stated that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and law enforcement agencies are confronting the scourge of terrorism with courage, calling the India-backed sectarian violence (Fitnah-e-Hindustan) an enemy of national unity and peace. He affirmed that operations against these brutal elements will continue until the threat is eliminated from Pakistani soil.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the federal government is providing full support to the province for restoring law and order and counter-terrorism, and that the malicious designs of terrorists backed by foreign support will never succeed. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said the people of the province are proponents of peace, noting that development and prosperity depend on security, and intelligence-based operations are essential at this time.
