The newly formed 18-member cabinet of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has officially taken the oath of office. Due to the illness of President Barrister Sultan Mahmood, the oath was administered by Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar.
Prime Minister of AJK Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore was also present at the ceremony and congratulated the newly inducted members.
According to official details, the cabinet comprises 16 ministers and 2 advisers, who will be assigned various administrative portfolios. The two advisers of the AJK government also took their oath, which was administered directly by Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.
The ceremony was held in a formal and dignified environment, and the cabinet’s formation is being viewed as a significant step in completing the administrative structure of the new government.
