MQM Pakistan leader and Member of the National Assembly, Farooq Sattar has strongly reacted to the removal of Kamran Tessori from the position of Governor Sindh.
In a statement, Farooq Sattar said that by removing Kamran Tessori from the post of Governor Sindh, the federal government and the Prime Minister have sent a clear message that they no longer need MQM Pakistan.
He stated that the party should now consider this matter as a red line and should immediately think about parting ways with the government.
Earlier, an MQM spokesperson had also said that the party was not taken into confidence regarding the decision to change the Governor of Sindh and had announced that a future course of action would soon be revealed.
It is worth noting that the federal government has removed Kamran Tessori and appointed Pakistan Muslim League N leader Nehal Hashmi as the new Governor of Sindh.
President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the appointment of Nehal Hashmi as Governor of Sindh, and he is expected to take the oath for the position today.
