A Nigerian woman, Favor Ogooche Enyi, has set a new world record by counting aloud continuously for 70 days, completing the count from one to 1.07 million.
According to international media reports, Favor Ogooche Enyi continued counting aloud for several weeks and eventually broke an 18-year-old global record.
Details reveal that she spent around 14 hours each day counting numbers and maintained the challenge for 70 consecutive days, completing the count from one to 1,070,000.
Previously, the world record stood at counting up to one million, which had remained unbeaten for nearly 18 years. Favor Ogooche Enyi surpassed that mark by an additional 70,000 numbers to establish a new record.
To ensure transparency and verification, she livestreamed the entire counting process on YouTube, allowing viewers to watch the attempt in real time and confirm its authenticity.
The challenge began in October 2025 and continued until December. During this period, she mostly carried out the counting from her home while maintaining a consistent schedule for nearly two and a half months.
Her extraordinary endurance and dedication attracted significant attention on social media, and the achievement is now being seen as a remarkable example of endurance related world records.
