Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has assured that cases related to PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife will be scheduled for hearing after Eid.
The assurance was given during a meeting with PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja at the Supreme Court in Islamabad.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Salman Akram Raja said he had requested the Chief Justice to fix the cases of the PTI founder for hearing at the earliest.
He stated that the Chief Justice assured him that the cases involving Imran Khan and his wife would be scheduled for hearings after Eid.
According to Salman Akram Raja, the Chief Justice also called in the relevant officials during the meeting and issued necessary instructions regarding the matter.
He further said that Chief Justice Yahya Afridi personally assured him that all related cases would be fixed for hearing after Eid.
