In its report submitted to the Supreme Court on the matter of elections in the provincial assemblies, the Election Commission of Pakistan has stated that elections in Punjab on May 14 are “impossible in any case.”
According to the report, the Election Commission will issue a statement regarding the election schedule next week.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court had ordered elections to be held in Punjab on May 14.
