Ogra raises the price of LPG by Rs4.89 per kilo for May. The people, who were already suffering from inflation, have now been given a shock in the name of LPG.
The already burdened common man has been hit with yet another shock as the price of LPG has been increased by Ogra for the month of May. With this latest move, the household staple has become even more expensive as Ogra announced the new prices and released a notification for the same.
According to the notification issued by Ogra, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs4.89 per kilo, with the new official price set at Rs233.88 per kilo. Additionally, the domestic cylinder for LPG has also been made more expensive, with the new price set at Rs57.70 per liter, leading to a new price of Rs2,759.89 for an 11.8 kilogram cylinder.
This latest increase in the price of LPG is sure to further burden the already-struggling households who rely on this fuel for cooking and heating purposes. With inflation already at an all-time high, such moves are only expected to add to the woes of the common man.
