Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has filed an appeal in the Islamabad District and Session Court against the illegitimate marriage case.
The appellant, Muhammad Hanif, has filed a review appeal against the decision of Judge Nasr manullah.
Sessions Judge Azam Khan has fixed the revision appeal on July 13 for hearing.
Sessions Judge Azam Khan has issued notices to Chairman PTI and the petitioner.
The request states that without any reason, Bushra Bibi has chosen to separate from Khawar Maneka and marry the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Mufti Saeed has announced the marriage during the ‘iddat’ period of Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi. Following an unlawful marriage during the ‘iddat’ period, Bushra Bibi and the Chairman of PTI are residing in Bani Gala.
The applicant has stated that in February 2018, Mufti Saeed officiated the marriage of Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi once again. Awn Chaudhry and Mufti Saeed have recorded their statements before a magistrate.
The appellant requests that the decision of the judge regarding the illegitimate marriage of Chairman PTI be declared null and void. The judge declared the complaint inadmissible and did not fulfill the legal requirements. The session court should accept the appeal and initiate proceedings against Chairman PTI.
It should be noted that on May 13, the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad declared the application of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s illegal marriage case inadmissible.
