Lahore: Zaka Ashraf, the newly appointed chairman of the (PCB) Pakistan Cricket Board’s management committee, has assumed charge.After assuming charge, Zaka Ashraf arrived at the PCB headquarters, where he was welcomed by senior officials of the board.
The paperwork for Zaka Ashraf’s assumption of charge has been completed, and on this occasion, he was seen interacting with PCB employees.
Today, Zaka Ashraf will preside over the first meeting of the new management committee.
The first meeting of the PCB’s new management committee will take place at the National Cricket Academy, where the future plans of the cricket board will be discussed.
It should be noted that the new management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board has been formed for a period of four months, which will oversee various matters, including the ICC and other affairs of the board.
The management committee of the PCB consists of 10 members, including Kaleemullah Khan, Ashfaq Akhtar, Mosadiq d Islam, Azmat Parvez, Zahid Abbas, Khurram Soomro, Khawaja Nadeem, Mustafa Ramday, and Zulfiqar Malik.
It is worth mentioning that prior to Zaka Ashraf, Najam Sethi was handling the matters of the Pakistan Cricket Board. However, the Pakistan People’s Party had recommended Zaka Ashraf’s name for the position of PCB chairman.
