Most of the polling stations set up across the country for the Islamabad general elections 2024 have been declared sensitive or highly sensitive.
According to the details, the sources said that out of the total 90 thousand 675 polling stations to be established across the country, 46 thousand 65 (50 percent) stations have been declared sensitive.
Sources According to the Election Commission, the number of polling stations declared sensitive, highly sensitive is 46 thousand 65 while 27 thousand 628 polling stations have been declared sensitive.
Sources said that the Election Commission has declared 18 thousand 437 polling stations as highly sensitive, 12 thousand 580 polling stations in Punjab have been declared sensitive, 6 thousand 40 as highly sensitive, while only 32 thousand 324 polling stations have been declared normal.
According to the sources of Election Commission, 6 thousand 545 polling stations in Sindh have been declared as ‘sensitive’ and 6 thousand 524 as ‘highly sensitive’.Which means that out of the total 19 thousand 6 polling stations of the province, only 5 thousand 937 polling stations have been declared as ‘normal’.

Apart from this, 6 thousand 166 polling stations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been declared sensitive, 4 thousand 143 polling stations have been declared highly sensitive, and 5 thousand 388 polling stations have been declared normal.
Sources According to the Election Commission, the ratio of normal polling stations in Balochistan is less than 20 percent, the total number of polling stations is 5 thousand 28, out of which only 961 polling stations have been declared as ‘normal’ while the remaining 2 thousand 337 have been declared as ‘normal’. Sensitive’ and 1,730 have been declared ‘highly sensitive’.
