Net Metering Policy: Is It a Plan to Keep People Away from Solar Panels? If we talk in terms of the market, the cost of installing a solar system has decreased by 35,000 rupees to 175,000 rupees.
At present, an estimated 5-kilowatt solar system costs between 500,000 to 550,000 rupees, while the price of a 7-kilowatt system is around 600,000 rupees.
Moreover, the price of a 10-kilowatt system is currently above 800,000 rupees, while 12 to 15-kilowatt systems cost more than 1.2 million rupees.
