The Meteorological Department has forecasted that Sindh is likely to experience above-average rainfall this year, with monsoon rains expected to commence in Karachi in July.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, Karachi’s weather will remain hot and humid in June.
Sardar Sarfaraz mentioned that the maximum temperature in June is expected to reach up to 37 degrees Celsius. However, there is no forecast for a significant increase in heat or a heatwave.
The Chief Meteorologist also noted that due to sea breezes, the evenings could be partly cloudy.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of a rise in temperatures in Karachi starting today. The city’s weather is currently partly cloudy, hot, and humid.
The Meteorological Department predicts that today’s maximum temperature could reach up to 37 degrees Celsius, with the current temperature at 33 degrees Celsius. However, the heat index is making it feel like 39 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level is at 56%, and winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 23 kilometers per hour.
The weather is expected to remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours, according to the Meteorological Department.
