Heavy rains are expected across the country from the evening or night of August 14 through August 18.
According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon winds from the west, the Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal will affect the country, resulting in heavy rainfall in some areas of Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
The Meteorological Department has also forecast cloudy weather with light rain in the coastal areas of Sindh from the evening or night of August 15 to August 18.
Meanwhile, rainfall continues in various districts of Balochistan, and a new spell of thunderstorms and rain is expected in 16 districts of Balochistan starting from August 15.
The Meteorological Department has predicted strong winds, thunderstorms, and intermittent rain, including heavy downpours in some areas, in Khuzdar, Lasbela, Awaran, Kalat, Zhob, Barkhan, Musakhel, Mastung, Sibi, Sherani, Kohlu, Bolan, Harnai, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, and the coastal areas of Makran from August 15 to August 18.
In the past 24 hours, Barkhan and Kalat received 6 millimeters of rainfall each.
Additionally, Nokundi recorded the highest temperature on Monday, reaching a maximum of 47 degrees Celsius.
