Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the establishment of passport processing counters at NADRA mega centers.
Following the orders of the Interior Minister, the Passport Department has begun implementation, setting up 10 passport processing counters in Karachi’s Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi Site areas. These counters at NADRA mega centers will allow citizens to benefit from passport processing services 24/7.
Director General of Immigration and Passports, Mustafa Jamal Qazi, stated that the scope of 24/7 passport processing counters is being expanded nationwide. The office in Islamabad has already been operating 24/7, while public centers in Karachi and the Garden Town office in Lahore are also open 24 hours for the public.
Mustafa Jamal Qazi further mentioned that the issue of delays in passport issuance has been fully addressed, ensuring a smoother process and timely issuance for citizens.
