The government has revised petroleum prices, increasing petrol by Rs3.26 per litre and reducing diesel by Rs1.01 per litre.
According to a statement issued by the Petroleum Division, the reduction brings the new diesel price to Rs399.34 per litre.
The notification states that petrol now costs Rs390.66 per litre following the Rs3.26 increase.
According to the statement, these petroleum prices have been set for October 2.
