Jamaat-e-Islami extended the scope of the protest for not announcing the election in 11 UCIs, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman announced a sit-in on ten central highways of the city next Friday and said that they will jam the city by staging a full sit-in on March 17.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman protested outside the Sindh Election Commission office.
Addressing the demonstration, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that we will also stage a sit-in and will also protest,
The people have given the mandate to Jamaat-e-Islami, we will protect every single vote, the fake notifications in the USs that were forged in the name of recounting should be withdrawn,The Election Commission should immediately announce the elections for the postponed 11 USCs.
He further said that he will continue to be right. The number of youth and children in Karachi is more than two and a half million. Youth are our strength.Along with the struggle, public opinion and intelligence have to be created, the Election Commission will also be forced to conduct the elections.
