In the IPL, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has been fined ₹1.2 million by the Indian board for a slow over rate.
Shubman Gill’s team had secured a 7-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals.
Additionally, during the 20th over, his team was allowed to place four fielders outside the circle.
Under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, the minimum fine was imposed.
With this victory, Gujarat Titans claimed the top position on the points table based on net run rate, although Delhi and Punjab Kings also have 10 points each.
