Security forces carried out a successful joint operation against Indian-backed terrorists in the suburban area of Ghaza Band near Quetta, killing 10 militants.
According to security sources, the intelligence-based operation was launched after credible information confirmed the presence of terrorists sponsored by India. Reports indicated that terrorist formations were active in the mountainous areas of Ghaza Band and were involved in various terrorist activities.
Sources stated that an intense exchange of fire took place during the operation. In the fierce gun battle, 10 terrorists were eliminated, while two security personnel sustained injuries.
Following the operation, a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
Security sources reaffirmed that law enforcement agencies remain determined to eradicate terrorism from the country and will continue efforts until this mission is fully achieved.
