Gold prices in Pakistan have recorded a noticeable decline, leading to a drop in rates in the local bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola across the country decreased by 6500 rupees, bringing the new rate down to 533362 rupees.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also saw a significant reduction. After a decline of 5573 rupees, the price of 10 grams of gold now stands at 457271 rupees.
Meanwhile, prices in the international market also moved downward, where gold fell by 65 dollars per ounce and is now trading at 5106 dollars per ounce. The decline in global prices is also being reflected in Pakistan’s local bullion market.
