Garhi Khuda Bakhsh: Former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari says that Pakistan is not a poor country but only Islamabad is poor in Pakistan.

On the 16th anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s death, Asif Ali Zardari addressed the gathering, stating that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has fulfilled all the promises it made. Zardari emphasized that the PPP has consistently upheld the rights of the people and will continue to do so in the future.

Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan is not a poor country only Islamabad is poor, the problem is not with any city but with the thinking of people sitting in Islamabad because they do not see what is happening to the poor.

The former president said that only politicians see what happens to the poor. The poor people hold the politician saying what have you done for us?

He stated that we will contribute to Pakistan’s progress because it is not only our obligation but also a necessity to build the country. If we build Pakistan, the coming generations will remember us. Many have come and gone, but the names of Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto are still alive today. They were extraordinary individuals who embraced martyrdom for their convictions.

He said that martyrdom is given to those who have served humanity, keep courage, there is no problem of leadership, we want people to get their rights and develop the country.

Asif Ali Zardari mentioned that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has numerous visions outlined in its manifesto. He expressed the party’s desire to develop Balochistan and transform Gilgit into the gateway to China. There are many projects outlined in the manifesto, and the PPP is committed to working on them.
