Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan does 85% of its trade by sea, terrorism and drug trafficking are major challenges which have to be faced together with the world.
Addressing the ceremony under the auspices of Pakistan Navy and Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto said that it is an honor for me to address the conference.
He said that he welcomes foreign delegations and all stakeholders to highlight the importance of the sea in food security and tourism while the blue economy can be used for the country’s economy.
Bilawal Bhutto said that future generations will be benefited by using marine resources because Pakistan does 85% of its trade through the sea and terrorism and drug trafficking are major challenges which have to be faced together with the world.
Bilawal Bhutto further said that the sea level is rising due to climate change and global warming is also increasing due to climate change.
