The Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for several leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf including Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur while declaring Umar Tanveer Butt as an advertisement.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the pre-arrest bail application of Ali Amin Gandapur in the terrorism case registered against PTI leaders in the case of attack and vandalism of the judicial complex in the I-Nine police station.
His lawyer, Raja Zahoorul Hasan, submitted a request to excuse the attendance of Ali Amin Gandapur in the court.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra said that last time on September 4, he applied for an exemption from attendance, and on September 8, his health got better in the meeting.
The court dismissed Ali Amin Gandapur’s pre-arrest bail application for non-compliance.
The court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Raja Rashid Hafeez, and Amir Mehmood Kayani, while Umar Tanveer Butt was declared a public servant for his continuous absence.
The court accepted Faisal Javed’s request for an attendance waiver and adjourned the hearing of the case till October 3.
