The dollar fell by 12 paise to Rs 277 68 paise at the opening of business on Wednesday.
At the close of business yesterday, the price of the American currency closed at 277 rupees, 80 paise.
On the other hand, a positive trend was seen in the stock market, at the beginning of the business, an increase of 159 points was recorded in the Hundred Index, which brought the index to the level of 81 thousand 643.
Yesterday too, during the first session of the business, there was a strong bullish trend in the index, but later the business saw a sharp decline.
