Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the details of the West Indies tour of Pakistan. According to the announcement, the West Indies cricket team will arrive in Pakistan on January 6, 2025.
After arriving in Islamabad, the West Indies team will play a three-day match against Pakistan Shaheens at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from January 10 to 12.
According to the PCB, the West Indies team will play two Test matches against Pakistan in Multan. The first Test will be held from January 17 to 21, and the second Test from January 25 to 29.
This will be the first Test tour of Pakistan by the West Indies in 19 years. The West Indies last played three Test matches in Pakistan in November 2006, while their last Test series against Pakistan was in October 2016 in the UAE.
The West Indies have toured Pakistan three times since 2018, including one ODI series in June 2022 and two T20I series in April 2018 and December 2021.
