According to Karachi Police, an explosion was heard near Sharafi Goth.
SSP Malir stated that metal fragments have been recovered from the site, and the nature of the explosion is being assessed. Police and rescue teams have reached the scene.
Earlier, Indian drones were shot down in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Chakwal, and Ghotki. According to police, the debris of the Indian drone neutralized in Gujranwala was found in Solakhan Abad. Security officials have taken the debris into custody, and the air defense system shot down the drone early in the morning.
In Chakwal, a drone crashed near Dewalian within the limits of Dhuman Police Station. No casualties were reported, and the drone’s debris has been taken into custody.
Four pieces of a drone were found in Peerjand on the outskirts of Gujrat. Eyewitnesses reported hearing explosions late at night.
Meanwhile, in the border area of Khenjo in Ghotki, Sindh, a drone crash resulted in one civilian’s death and another being injured.
