Islamabad: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has proposed the formation of a committee aimed at bringing like-minded political parties together and developing a coordinated political approach amid the current national situation.
In his statement, Barrister Gohar said that this country and its armed forces belong to all of us, and just as we have stood together in the past, we must continue to move forward collectively. He added that extending a hand fosters new pathways, and dialogue always leads to progress, which is why the circumstances demand inclusive and meaningful negotiations among all stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi stated that all national resources are being directed toward a single province, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is being deprived of its rightful share. He said there has been no serious discussion on the IMF corruption report, and the federal government must immediately release the funds owed to the province.
PTI leader Asad Qaiser claimed that democratic values in the country have deteriorated significantly, adding that opposition leaders are no longer able to reside in Punjab freely.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that without strict adherence to the Constitution, the country cannot move forward, and without economic stability, true growth cannot be achieved. He stressed the need for a collective struggle to restore constitutional supremacy.
