After witnessing a continuous decline for three days, gold prices have recorded a significant increase in both local and international markets, bringing back a strong upward trend in the precious metals sector.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by 11,100 rupees, taking the new rate to 488,962 rupees per tola, reflecting renewed investor interest in the gold market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by 9,517 rupees to reach 419,206 rupees, indicating a sharp increase in gold prices within the domestic market.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward, as the price per tola increased by 223 rupees, bringing the new rate to 8,072 rupees.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a major increase, with the price per ounce rising by 111 dollars to reach 4,666 dollars, signaling growing global demand for precious metals.
