A Pakistani guide, Faizi Shalmani, is being widely praised in the United Arab Emirates and around the world for saving the life of a foreign tourist suffering from heatstroke on a mountain in Ras Al Khaimah.
According to reports, a Pakistani hiking group was present on a hiking trail in Ras Al Khaimah when they received information that a foreign woman had suddenly collapsed.
Pakistani guide Faizi Shalmani immediately stepped in to help, carrying the Filipino woman suffering from heatstroke on his shoulders and bringing her down the difficult mountain trail within nearly three hours.
Sources stated that due to the difficult terrain, a helicopter rescue operation was not possible, after which the Pakistani guide displayed remarkable courage and humanity by safely bringing the woman down to a secure location.
Following the incident, social media users have also praised the Pakistani guide’s humanitarian spirit, calling his actions an inspiring example of compassion and bravery.
