The intelligence unit of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed that Iran’s military power forced the United States to change its war strategy.
According to the IRGC statement, the US has begun dispersing its forces across different locations, moving military equipment to more distant areas and increasing its reliance on secret and underground positions.
The statement said the resistance and morale of the Iranian people, along with the effective use of Iran’s geography, had made the US’s conventional military deployment in the region less effective.
The IRGC said the evacuation and deactivation of CENTCOM bases, the transfer of forces to Jordan, casualties, the relocation of intelligence and military equipment to more remote sites and the shift toward covert and underground deployments had created significant costs for the United States.
The statement said these developments reflected growing difficulties for the US in maintaining a conventional and visible military presence near Iran.
