Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Deputy President for Central Punjab, Rana Farooq Saeed, has announced the termination of Latif Khosa’s party membership.
During a press conference in Model Town, Lahore, Rana Farooq Saeed, the Deputy President for Central Punjab of the PPP, stated that Latif Khosa had been advised not to cross the party’s red lines, but he went against it.
Rana Farooq Saeed accused Latif Khosa of joining the PPP as a lawyer and continuing to receive benefits. He claimed that Latif Khosa wanted to appoint his son as the Attorney General but resorted to blackmail when he did not get the position.
The Deputy President for Central Punjab of the PPP stated that they were ending Latif Khosa’s fundamental membership.
On this occasion, the inauguration of the ‘Wall of Shame’ was also held at the PPP Central Punjab Office, featuring Latif Khosa’s picture.
Imran Khan’s meeting with Latif Khosa at his residence
It should be noted that on Sunday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan met Latif Khosa at his residence. The meeting aimed to reach an agreement on promoting democracy, ensuring protection of basic human rights under the constitution, and fostering peaceful efforts.
It is evident that Imran Khan challenged his nomination in the Abdul Razaq Shar case through Latif Khosa in the Supreme Court.
