According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake, which occurred on Thursday morning, was recorded at a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale. The earthquake struck the Mindanao region of the Philippines and had a depth of 630 kilometers. No casualties have been reported.
The tremor caused people to rush to open spaces. Officials have warned that aftershocks may follow, advising residents to take precautions.
