India appears to be attempting to attack Pakistan after failing to provide evidence regarding the incident at the tourist site of Pahalgam in occupied Kashmir. This claim has been made by an American newspaper.
The New York Times claimed that it seems India is trying to build a case to attack Pakistan.
According to American media, after the Pahalgam incident, India summoned diplomats from 100 foreign missions to the Ministry of External Affairs for a briefing. However, during the briefing, Indian officials stated that their investigations are ongoing and only briefly referenced technical intelligence and facial recognition data regarding the perpetrators of the Pahalgam incident.
According to analysts and diplomats, India could not present any solid evidence during the briefing. Meanwhile, the New York Times report stated that the lack of concrete evidence so far indicates one of two possibilities: that India needs more time to gather information.
According to the American newspaper, four diplomats familiar with these briefings stated that New Delhi is apparently building a case for military action against its neighbor and traditional rival.
